The Detroit Chinatown Vision Committee is proud to host its second annual block party in celebration of the revival and re-imagining of Detroit's historic Chinatown! This vibrant event marks a new chapter for a community with deep roots in Detroit's cultural and economic history. Last year, we had more than 4,000 people attend. Our goal is to bring together longtime residents, newcomers, families, friends, and supporters to honor the legacy of Chinatown while envisioning an exciting, inclusive future. 

This block party is more than a festival—it's a statement of resilience and hope. It reflects our commitment to restoring the heart of Chinatown as a place where all are welcome to share in its unique history, delicious food, lively cultural performances, and warm sense of community. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating Asian American heritage and the collective spirit that makes Detroit special.
